4 Areas of Your Home to Elevate With Artificial Greenery
Faux plants were once a faux-pas! Not anymore. They have made a comeback and can give anyone who wasn’t blessed with a green thumb, like me, the ability to inject greenery and life into their homes. Today I’m sharing how I use artificial plants throughout my home for a serene, elevated and earthy feel. I’ll even share links to the stems, trees and plants that I use. Let’s get started!

1. The living area
The coffee table is prime real estate for some stems and sprigs. They are great for creating a feeling of gathering and relaxation. You can change them out for every season and even change things up depending on your mood. There’s something so satisfying and simple about a small change of scenery like swapping out your fall stems for your spring ones. If you are a true lazy decorator like I am, though, you’ll love knowing that I keep the same stems in my coffee table vase all year long. They’re evergreen and never lose their charm. This pack I bought on Amazon comes with 36 stems! You could use them in multiple spots around the house for such a great price.
2. The primary bedroom
I love waking up and making the bed with our faux ficus next to the bed. It’s a truly relaxing way to start and end the day. When the bedroom lamp turns on and sheds light on the tree in the evening, it sets the tone for the night and makes it so easy to wind down. I cannot recommend this tree enough for the primary bedroom. You will wonder why you didn’t put one in there sooner.
3. The guest bedroom
We don’t often have guests over (friends and family almost always stay on the Strip when they come to town), but when we do, it’s so lovely to give them a space that even we love being in. The faux olive tree might just be one of the most popular of the faux greeneries on the market today. You may be surprised to find out that there are literally hundreds of them to choose from, in a number of heights, on Amazon alone. You’ll love how real and natural this one looks, though. It’s a warmer tone that I think makes a guest bedroom that much more welcoming.
4. The entryway
Probably my favorite stems in the house are these artificial ficus branches in our entryway. The console table gains this incredible height with their 43″ of length. I also can’t tell you how many times people have thought these were real plants. When you enter your home, don’t you just want that feeling of peace and calm? I would absolutely say that adding stems and sprigs to a tall vase not only creates a beautiful and intentional centerpiece at the forefront of your house, but it creates that mood of tranquil energy by putting this realistic foliage so close to the entrance.
Whether you want soothing atmosphere or a five-star hotel experience throughout your own home, faux stems, branches and trees can help you achieve that. You can certainly go towards the real plants themselves, but if you have trouble keeping plants alive like I do, then I wouldn’t think twice about checking out some of the many options that are available these days. You can get just about any plant’s artificial cousin on the internet. Add some green to your home today–real or faux–and you’ll feel the difference right away.
