Why am I like this? 🫠
👇🏼 I can’t be the only one that does this! When you put together furniture, do you…
… and it was so worth it. 🥹 Never going to stop being proud of myself. And proving to myself that I can do anything I put my mind to (even though sooooome of that was exaggerated). 😌 I’d probably try to stop going to sleep at 11 AM, but other than that, there’s nothing I’d do differently. 😂 Now it’s time for a manicure, because my hands are WRECKED!

👍🏼/👎🏼 What do you think of the cost to build out this slat wall? Was it what you thought it’d cost?
💡Using 3M adhesive foam tape and black caulk to make this accent slat wall removable in the future was an added cost, but our future selves may thank us for it later. If I wanted to make this wall permanent, I’d use liquid nails instead of tape, which would save me lots of money. Heck! If the wall weren’t tile, I’d be able to shoot nails through the slats instead and save even MORE money. And if the wall behind the slats were a lighter color, I’d also be saving on normal white caulk instead of the black.
☝🏼So don’t be discouraged if $300 is a bit out of your range! This is a very doable project when done with the right materials for your situation. And if you need guidance or have any questions, I’m always here to help. 🙂

The guest bedrooms 💫 They both have their own dreamy personalities. 💭 What do you think? I love how both feel like a getaway from Las Vegas!
Which one would you like to sleep in more? 😌

It’s not until the counter stools and pendant lights went in that we thought “okay, this makes sense.” 🙂↕️ It was tough turning this big, dark dungeon of a kitchen into a light and warm place to be like the rest of the open concept living space around it. Next to the dining room, this blacked out kitchen felt very out of place. 😟
While black does match with black, bombarding a space with too much black can feel very cold and drab. Brass, greenery and wood elements truly gave this kitchen life. 🌿🪵 I loved the way the clear glass shades of the lights kept things transparent and open, too. The kitchen feels bigger! And yes, that first picture is flipped horizontally for scroll appeal 🤭😝

TA-DAAA! 🪄 Is this my favorite room to date? Idk if I’m allowed to say yes, because can a parent choose a favorite child?? 🙃 I am, however, in LOVE with this beautiful accent wall. ✨Aesthetic✨ Now who wants to do a photoshoot here?? 😻

You know her, but allow me to reintroduce… THE OFFICE 🤩 She honestly doesn’t even need an introduction. Just look at her. 😌 I am very proud of this office space. We turned what the previous owner of the house used to use as a🫸🏼GIANT🫷🏼 🐟 fish tank room (not kidding) into a dreamy office. I could not be more excited about how this turned out. Styling those shelves was a complete labor of love. No touchy! 😝😏

Up next: the dining room 🍴
I knew immediately when I did the first walkthrough of this house that I wanted there to be a huge round rug and round table. 🙆🏻♀️ So seeing this dining area completed gives me this “ahh, just like I imagined” feeling. Can’t tell you just how much I love it. 😍 This may be my favorite place in the house… but we’re not done yet!

Introducing: the entryway! 😍
I love faux stems. They’re so easy to swap out every season. My clients are renting out this fully furnished space and like having a goodie basket 🍬 and welcome message 👋🏼 for their guests as soon as they walk through the door. Tell me this isn’t the cutest, yet simplest little entryway you’ve ever seen! ☺️
